Summer has finally graced us with its presence here in the UK and boy am I glad. I was beginning to think I would be wearing my double padded jacket all year round.

So girls, this means one thing. Summer wardrobe time. Now if your like me and tend to spend more money on clothes in the summer than in the winter, don’t fret. I have put together a collection of not overly prised, yet stunning summer dresses. And lets be honest, wearing a dress in summer is pivotal. So if you wear the same old maxi dress each year and need a change then have a look at what the high street stores have to offer.

Topshop have some really gorgeous stuff in and what I like most is the variety you have. The dropped back hem dress is very much a key seller this summer and looks great on. Something colourful is also vital for this years summer look. So starting from the top left:

River Island have more outgoing smart dresses, but still have quite a nice selection of summer frocks. They also seem to be the only store sporting a Great Britain dress in support for our country in the 2012 Olympics. Great idea River Island.
